Dear USTA:
Please stop passing out the wild cards to our US players (500 per year to the girls and 500 per year to the guys). It is embarrassing, makes them feel they are owed something, creates narcissistic behavior, is basically unfair to the rest of the real players on the tour as it skews the rankings.
As a result of these free rides, you cheat our players from accomplishing something on their own and our lowly ATP Tour and WTA Tour rankings are a reflection of this. But then again, they have been given so much, from the beginning, that they would be numb to the idea and probably not even be able to understand most likely the true value derived from starting at the bottom and actually working their way up on their own.
Better go live in Belarus or the Ukraine for that valuable life experience because we cannot get it here in the US due to over indulgence of our players, combined with misleading them about pro tennis and the college scholarship and turn pro later after college hoax totally orchestrated and supported by the USTA.
